EEX Spot and Derivatives Market Data from the European Energy Exchange

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) operates spot and derivatives markets for energy and energy related products. EEX products include trading in power, emission allowances, coal and guarantees of origin. With more than 450 trading member firms from 33 countries, EEX is the leading energy exchange in Europe.

Deutsche Börse distributes the European Energy information product EEX Spot and Derivatives Market.

The information product EEX Spot and Derivatives Market contains prices for the following contracts:

  • Spot contracts on power (EPEX SPOT)
  • Futures on power
  • Traded EU allowances on the spot market
  • Traded futures on EU allowances (EUA, EUAA, ERU) and certified emissions reductions (CERs) on the derivatives market
  • Traded futures contracts on coal
  • Traded guarantees of origin on the derivatives market
  • Agricultural futures (also included in the information product EEX Agricultural)

The information product is available as a level 1 and level 2 product.
